It’s hard to believe but we’re almost half way through the year – still
struggeling with the weather conditions but sometimes we have to deal with
things that we simply can’t change! Speaking of change - i’ve been a little
M.I.A. over the last few weeks which is something that i’ve been feeling for a
while now. April has been a month full of ups and downs which told me that
something inside me or the way i was doing things needed to be addressed. As
mentally active as i am it’s easy to get caught up in past life patterns of
thinking and actions. And even though these kind of phases of your life can
create circumstances that you’re unhappy about, it can be another lesson to
learn from and to change your life with a new way of thinking which often comes
with the need to step back in order to find your inner piece before you
continue to repeat the same situation/pattern over and over again. So other
than that patterns also play a big part of today’s look which is hopefully the
last one where you see me wearing a winter coat and layers like there is no
tomorrow.

Carpe Diem | Matcha Green Tea
It’s safe to say that over the last few years Matcha has become
increasingly popular all over the world. It’s one of the most powerful super
foods out there which contains amazingly high levels of antioxidants, which not
only prevents damage to the brain cells but it’s also praised for its energy-enhancing,
metabolism-boosting properties. This green powder, that has been a major part
of Japanese culture for centuries, is truly a miracle! It can be consumed as
tea but it’s also well-loved as a frequently requested addition to lattes, soy
and fruit drinks and smoothies! For that reason, Carpe Diem decided to create
its very own vegan Matcha Sparkling Green Tea for which i’m proud to be one of
their new digital ambassdores and got the chance to create a new editorial
inspired by Japanese culture. The drink itself consists of natural ingredients which is an amazing
alternative for ice tea and lemonande since you will find less sugar in this
green little bottle. So if you’re curious how it tastes when Matcha meets
greent tea, nashi pear and ginger i have some news for you - Carpe Diem Matcha is already available in shops! Hope you will love it as much as i do! Happy Weekend everyone!

Weekday Opening | Vienna
People, get excited – there’s a new kid on the block! The hight street
store ‚Weekday’ finally opens here in Vienna and i’m super excited to
be invited to the pre-opening which will take place tonight! I first walked
into one of their their stores back in September in Berlin where i was invited
to the Lollapaloozza Festival and couldn’t resist checking everything which was
locted right next to the hotel. Of course Weekday was high on the list since it
claims to be a modern and mindful fashion and denim brand offering
international fashion influenced by Scandinavian style. Back then i found a lot of good stuff and ended up buying this amazing top which is still one of my favorite things to wear!
Lucky me i got the chance to pick out a few pieces of their current
collection and since i’m such a huge fan of turtleneck sweaters i went for this
amazing leather top. The neckline is abviously my obsession but also the
blouse underneath (which you can check out at my dear blogger colleague Carola's latest blogpost) makes this look even more special! Another great key piece is
this washed out denim jacket that gives the whole look a little bit more
dimension!

Festival Vibes
Just because Coachella is over in California doesn’t mean we have to
miss out on all the style fun! It’s true that festivals became some sort of a
grown up costume party experience where you get the chance to rock those
typical boho-chic 70’s inspired pieces you would only tend to wear at the
beach. Wether you’re a nostalgic rocker girl or a bohemian babe there are so
many ways to channel your inner 70’s flower with chic and stylish outfits. FlaredJeans, Lace Tops or airy Dresses are by far my favorite options but one of the easiest
way to transform your daily look is definitely to add fringe like i did in
this case with this jacket from Tally Weijl – it’s simply the texture and
movement that not only makes me want to dance but also gives me the ulltimate
summer feeling at the same time!

Grey on Grey
Being surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and bustle of daily
life is probably one of the best things i can do for myself in order to recharge
energy – and that’s exactly what i did when when i spend a few days in my
Hometown. It was all about spending relaxing hours with the family and visting
places that I haven’t seen in a very long time! So for this specific weekend i
opted for super cozy looks like this grey ond grey option which is something
that i usually don’t wear! A simple mix of black, white and denim never fails but this combo definitely make you feel instantly put together without a lot of effort!
