MATCHPOINT

So i thought i would bring a little bit more brithness onto the blog. Even though i love the monochrome look so much i also have those days where i simply don't wanna wear dark colors at all - especially when its super hot! On the weekend i took advantage of the great weather and went for this pink patterned blouse. Usually i'm not a big fan of pink (especially when it comes to clothes - i only have 2 more pieces in my wardrobe). That's because i usually wear black pants (almost every day) and I just don't like the combination of pink&black. But since i purchased these denim shorts it became a little bit more easier to incorporate my "girly" pieces into my daily outfits. As you can see we went to a beautiful place which is called "Volksgarten" and obviously the background matches my outfit perfectly - i take it as a sign that i've made the right decision.

On the Bridge

It is of course a very simplistic look but it's all about staying cool when the weather heats up. This year i'm craving a little 
bit more black than usual during the summer-time but i will definitely try to incorporate more colors into my next outfits. 

Secret Garden

So in the last couple of weeks i have gotten in the habit of taking  really long walks  - especially on the weekend. I also realised that i've NEVER been to the Augarten which is only 10 minutes away by foot from my apartment - and let me tell you, this park is well worth a visit! I don't know why but i always had a thing about parks/impressive gardens.

Braid it up!

Cute braided hairstyles are one of my favorite looks. They are so easy to do and have always been the best option for a 

long walk on a super hot summer day to keep your hair in place. I used to braid my hair a LOT but over the last 2 years i 

totally forgot about it - really don't know why. So it was defnitely time to braid it up!  

Different Route

The weather has been super super lovley over the weekend and due to the fact that Vienna has so much more to offer than just all its royal palaces and museums my bf and i decided to take a different route (instead of walking throug the city for the hundreth time). So we went from the Südbahnhof right into the 10th district (which is definitely not the prettiest - but not everthing can be a picture perfect scenery - right??) in the hope of finding some really cool buildings, places, parks. etc. And we did! We took these pictures right after walking 2 hours in a row  at the Nature Spot "Löwygrube".  It's the first time i am showcasing my new black backpack which became my ultimate companion over the last 2 weeks. (I've needed this in my wardrobe for the longest time).
