Up on the Roof

While i was at "home" i finally managed to take some pictures right on the roof terrace of the University of Salzburg. The building completed only in 2010 but for some reason i never found the time to take a closer look at the construction.

I can highly recommend going there because the visitors terrace at terminal 1 is open free of charge on a daily basis and if you want you can also relax at terrace cafè which is also on the roof of the Unipark - the view is simply amazing. FYI: The last picture was taken right in the middle of the forest where i used to spend most of my days when i was little. 

Designer Outlet Salzburg - Streetstyle

So here are some outfit pictures i took last week at the Outlet Center for the Streetstyle-Contest.

The weather is incredible at the moment and that's the best reason for me to avoid wearing black from head to toe!

The Hunt is on!

As I I told you before I was invited to Salzburg but not only for pleasure. I also did a really fun job for the Mc Arthur GlenDesigner Outlet, running through the whole Center hunting people for street style pictures. Not so easy as it seems!

So, here’s the outfit I was wearing on the second day of my job - if you follow me on instagram you’ve probably seen this outfit before and also the one i was wearing on the first day – a white & grey striped suit (one of the best purchases I’ve recently made). Fortunately I was able to take some proper pictures of the second one after work– oh and please excuse my tired looking face!

Vintage Fashion Festival at Mc Arthur Glen Designer Outlet Salzburg

Last Thursday evening I was invited to the A.N.G.E.L.O. Vintage Clothing Store Opening in my hometown Salzburg at the Mc Arthur Glen Designer Outlet. After the official speech of the Center management I discovered these amazing red vintage sunglasses and those really cool Levi’s Denim Shorts! In the beginning it was really hard to choose the right size, color and cut. Usually i am more on the comfortable side and I’m honestly not really used to wear really tight shorts - but this time I made an exception! I

So if you’re able to stopp by you should definitely check this shop out in the next few days because they will continue their tour through Europe.   

Usually i don't like to post my instagram pictures on my blog because of the bad qualitiy but i thought it would be nice to show you how i styled these vintage shorts!

Essential Garden - "feels just like Paradise" + GIVEAWAY

I almost can’t believe it – the warmer temperatures have arrived! Although the weather still remains unsettled the wintery conditions are finally gone and spring is now on our agenda – so no more complaining on blogs/instagram/twitter– right?!

With every change of season I always tend to make some personal changes as well. Besides the fact that I recently dyed my hair a little bit darker, I also love to change up my fragrance with one of these new scents for Spring. Finding the perfect perfume is always a little challenge. I guess a lot of you are like me standing in the department store, spritzing around the perfume and end up smelling like something you totally hate. But sometimes,  when i’m lucky enough and rediscover a particular scent or even if i smell a specific fragrance when someone passes by it often brings me back to a certain point of my life in the past and i immediately get a special feeling – hard to explain!! But it’s so true, scent is the sense that contributes best to memory recollection.

With that being said I want to introduce you to the new fragrance line "feels just like Paradise" of Essential Garden. I recently got the chance to try out the new scents (Vanilla Affair/Forbidden Berries/Hypnotic Musk/Flowers of Eden) of their current collection which represents a cool mixture between sensuality  and design. 
I also received this lovely apple-shaped USB -Stick which is obvisously a really cool eyecatcher but primarly intended to be the press material for the company's  journalists! Such a nice idea!

Here are some information about the smell of each perfume:

- Vanilla Affiar is a mix between a pudery scent & of course vanilla 

- Forbidden Berries is very friuty fragrance with a scent of tropical fruits

- Flowers of eden is a very fresh fragrance which smells like a Rose but definitely with some sort of Lemon

- Hypnotic Musk is the one with a big amount of sandalwood and black currant

Central Station

Last week my boyfriend and i decided to take a closer look at Vienna's new Central Station which will replace the old Südbahnhof terminal station. Some parts are still under construction but it was definitely  worth stopping by. During our little excursion we also took advantage of the whole location and did a little outfit shoot. I hope this is the last time where you see me all wrapped up - it was soo cold!!

The "Leather" Jacket

Last week i finally found one of the items i was looking out for such a long time and  now i'm head over heels for this leather jacket i recently found at Mango.  Usually i spent only a couple of minutes at their shops but luckily i became more interested after i took a look at their new season's lookbook. 

All i can say is that this jacket fits perfectly! At the beginning i wasn't sure if i should take M or L - Large was a little bit  too saggy for me - that's why i ended up buying Medium -  definitely made the right choice.

Anyways, it's still too cold & windy here in Vienna but over the weekend i got the chance to wear some of my latest purchases - besides the leather jacket i also found this grey denim vest with a hoodie (which i was wearing underneath) at Primark at the men's department .(This is kind of weird but recently i always have to check out the men's section).

To add a little bit more -  i would say "life" - to the whole simplistic look i also choose to wear my new shiny silver bag from Zara - which i absolutely love - such a versatile piece. It's obviously a kind of a replica of the very expensive Proenza Schouler PS11 Mini but honestly i would never pay that much money for a bag (ok never say never). I also realized (while i was uploading all of my LOOKS of 2013 on my facebook page) that i have been wearing those black boots in almost every outfit post - i think that i maybe have to force myself to stop wearing them too much before they start to look like a mess. (it happened to one of my favorite shoes ever - my leopard loafers which already fell apart!
