Weeks ago i
got asked by Selma, who’s also an old friend of mine, to style her upcoming
photoshoot. She recently moved to England and is currently recording her new
album. Due to the fact that she recently updated her look and went for a short
cropped hairdo she needed some new pictures for her website. She already had a clear vision about the shoot and came up with the idea to create a Twiggy
inspired look. Once i started putting an inspiration board together i thought
that an edgy mix between Twiggy, Eddie Sedgwick and Kate Moss would bet he
perfect choice – which means a lot of sequins, overknee-tights, statement
earrings etc. just to name a couple of accessoires we took advantage of. In the
past few years i already did a couple of styling for shoots, tv presentations
and fashionshows that’s why i also knew what i had to bring besides the clothes
like double faced adhesive, a lot of safety pins, a hand dispenser, cotton wool
and so on... This collaboration was so much fun and the shoot itself was just
awesome only because the chemistry was perfect between everyone who was working
on this project. During the shoot i was also able to videotype some moments
with my camera. I knew that i had to do a making-of. I simply love those kind
of pictures and videos!! As soon as i get the pictures i will post them all on
my blog but for now i’ll leave you with some "behind the scenes" - impressions !!!
